Overview

Bellaire, Texas, adopted the "current" International Residential Code (IRC), including all Appendices, with amendment. Bellaire City Code § 9-360 (adoption) and § 9-363 (amendments). Note that Ordinance No. 19-004 specifically names the 2018 ICC codes as the Current codes. We contacted the city of Bellaire, TX for additional amendments under § 9-363. However, no amendments regarding § R301.2 in the 2018 IRC were recorded. Any requirement for Ice Barriers is left undetermined.

The city confirmed that it is in Climate Zone 2, in a 110 MPH windspeed zone.
